To me, being a Transition Doula means offering interconnected support through life’s sacred thresholds. Care is rooted within your body, your home and the rhythms that root you. This can look like clearing and creating environments that truly reflect those within them, it can be a steady presence alongside you, allowing space for all the feelings courageously and within your community, it can be connecting you with trusted resources that feel aligned and accessible.
It’s curated care that meets you in real, practical ways.

Whether you’re birthing in a hospital, at home, or through a cesarean, I remain a steady, caring presence within it all. Birth plans can evolve, but you don’t have to navigate those shifts alone. I’ll support you in staying connected to yourself, your choices, and what feels right in each moment. Together we come to understand birth more deeply so you can feel confident and rooted as it unfolds.

Memory Lane sessions are for anyone moving through a season of transition—releasing a long-held home, dancing into a new chapter, navigating grief, or experiencing shifts in caregiving or daily life. Together, we move at a pace that honors the emotional layers that naturally arise, gently sorting and rehousing belongings, creating meaningful keepsakes, and thoughtfully curating your space—whether in a new home or a renewed version of the one you’re in. With calm, respectful support, what can feel overwhelming begins to soften, making room for a quiet sense of home to return.

What an honor to help you start, you don’t have to have it all figured out—that’s where I come in. I offer a complimentary meet and greet to explore the offerings within Ethereal Root Wellness and the Community. During our meet and greet, we’ll discuss your hopes, the kind of support that would feel most meaningful and whether my approach feels aligned for you. From there, you get to decide what’s right for you and I’ll meet you where you’re at.

Families reach out at different stages, but most commonly during the second trimester to ensure availability and access community resources. Wherever you are in your journey, you’re welcome to get in touch. I intentionally support a limited number of families at a time, but I’m always happy to connect you with other Doulas in Calgary as needed.

In Calgary, birth support typically ranges from $900–$2,000, with extended postpartum care offered hourly at $40. I offer both hourly support and packages at a reduced rate, with the flexibility to move across different Ethereal Roots Wellness offerings. While not covered by Alberta Health Care, some extended plans may reimburse a portion, and receipts can be provided. If cost feels like a barrier, we can explore flexible options together.
